Pharmacy Lead – Genomic Medicine
Emma is the NHS North East & Yorkshire Genomic Medicine Service Alliance Pharmacy Lead. In 2016, she started the MSc course ‘Genomic Medicine’ at Newcastle University and ever since then has been fascinated by the subject. Emma has a keen interest in educational development and supporting the NHS workforce to use to adopt genomics into their current practice.

Workforce and Education Lead
Helen is our Workforce and Education Lead and started her current role in December 2022. Prior to this Helen has worked as a Genetic Counsellor for the Northern Genetic Service, with over 20 years’ experience in the field. Helen has an educational specialism having worked as a science teacher in a secondary school.

Jackie has been a consultant Clinical Geneticist at Sheffield since 1996, specialising in cancer, renal and endocrine genetics. She is currently one of the two Clinical Directors of the North East and Yorkshire Genomic Medicine Service Alliance.

Jennifer is the Head of the Yorkshire Regional Clinical Genetics Service, based at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and has experience of developing new services and innovative approaches to service delivery, to meet the demands of an evolving Genomic Medicine Service.
